Eco-Schools refers to the whole school, pupil-led approach to Learning for Sustainability led by Keep Scotland Beautiful.
Eco-Schools is the largest sustainable schools programme in the world with 19.5 million children, young people and educators engaged worldwide in 67 different countries.

Eco Schools Green Flag Award
The Green Flag Award is a visible indication of your school's commitment to Learning for Sustainability. It is made up of seven elements which build the framework for the Award Criteria. During your Green Flag Application you choose to work on three of the Ten Topics. Eco schools is a pupil-led programme so each topic is chosen by the eco-committee. The application for your Green Flag Award is done solely online, using a step by step process to collect evidence for each of the elements.
